External Review of the educational programmes clusters in “Transport”, “Physics-mathematical Sciences”, “Power, Power Engineering and Electric Engineering” and “Chemistry and Biotechnologies” was held from June, 3 till June, 5 in the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

The external review panel consisted both of foreign and Russian experts, representatives of the leading Russian HEIs, employers and students.

Within the accreditation procedure meetings with management of HEI, chairs of the departments, teaching staff, students and graduates were organized. The panel members mentioned modern laboratory base of the institutes, high level of teaching staff proficiency, wide range of scientific areas and interaction with graduates and employers.

The reports and recommendations on the further programmes development will be prepared according to the results of the external review. The decision on accrediting the educational programmes will be made on the meeting of the National Accreditation Board in September, 2013.
